Note year of 1894 when registered. This would be because Ruby was born in the latter half of December (18 Dec 1893) and was probably not registered until the new year of 1894.
A spinster, (never married) lived at St Aubins Bastia Hill in Wanganui, from Appendix ii written by Brian Carrell in his brother’s, (Anthony Carrell), book published in 2019, “John and Talitha Carroll - From Jersey to Wanganui”.
