Confirmation of no marriage in a letter from Vyver Main (nee Whyte) to Cliff Trainer dated 8 July 1993:
“Do you remember Aunt Eliza? The one who never married? She also lived nearby at one time - she died in 1926 I think - living at Howe St”.

Vyver who wrote the letter, was the granddaughter of George Moore Ross b.1851 and Emma (nee Gerrard) b. 1853.
