Graeme Kenyon passes on recollections of his father, Clive Kenyon, as at September 2013. (Clive's, grandfather was James George Kenyon b.1861 whose sister, Florence Kenyon, married James William Oliver, son of Charles Oliver Oliver b.1843):
“Trevor is still alive and has been growing mushrooms at Te Puna for many years - he still lives there but think his son now does the growing”.

Cynthia Glover (nee Coleman), whose great-great-grandfather was William Samuel Allen b.1843. (William's sister, Martha Allen, married Charles Oliver, youngest son of James and Ruth Oliver), writes:
“Trevor started a mushroom farm on his property, at 147 Clarke Road, Te Puna, Tauranga, which was one of the first in New Zealand…” “His son Geoffery, built a mushroom shed there and now runs the business with the help of Trevor and his wife, Pat. Trevor was a member of the Tauranga Aero Club after World War Two”.

OLIVER, Trevor Russell
On Thursday 12th December 2013, sadly passed away at Tauranga Hospital, aged 87 years. Treasured husband and best friend of Pat for 63 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sharon and Dave, Richard and Trudie, Geoff, Peter (Olly) and Debbie. Adored granddad of Billy and Oliver; Rachel, Michael and Sarah; Natalie; Regan, Tyler and Katie, and great granddad of Grace, Emilie, Charlotte, William and Jack.

Trevor will be at home from Saturday. A service for Trevor will be held at Olive Tree Cottage, 247 Joyce Rd Pyes Pa, Tauranga, on Monday 16th December at 1.00pm, followed burial.
