Cynthia writes, “Graham was born in Tauranga but shifted to Lepperton, Taranaki with his family when he was about 10 months old. When he was 18 he left Taranaki and came to Te Kowhai to continue farming on a large farm down by the Waipa River. We took the bottom end of the farm which was in the Whitehall district and Keith [brother] and Doris took the top block,, in Te Miro. We were 14 years in Whitehall dairy farming and sold out in 1966 and bought a town supply property in Putitki Road, Edgecumbe, near Whakatane”.
