Date of death from headstone at Heads Road Cemetery, Wanganui, New Zealand.
Place of death of “Blink Bonnie, No 2 Line, Wanganui” from CD prepared by Stuart Macfarlane and included with Pamela Booth’s second edition of her book, “Blink Bonnie”, published March 2010. Stuart is the grandson of James Higgie b. 1857. Pamela is the great-great granddaughter of Robert Clark Higgie b.1855.

MARY HIGGIE died 16th August 1891 aged 73 years; [Mother]
JOHN HIGGIE died 20th March 1885 aged 32 years;
ALEXANDER HIGGIE died 20th January 1908 aged 62 years;
ANNIE HIGGIE died 31st March 1913 aged 62 years; [Wife]
ACTON ALEXANDER LINDSAY HIGGIE died 19th April 1891 aged 3 years;
ADRIAN WILSON CLARK HIGGIE died 30th January 1915 aged 35 years;
MARY HALES died 4th February 1914
No record of birth could be found on the New Zealand BDM website as at May 2023. This is most likely because births have only been recorded in New Zealand since 1848 and, it was not compulsory to register a birth before 1858).
In family photo, children left to right are: Alexa, Amy, Adrian, Adeline, and Annie [Jnr]. Interesting to note, not only the parents first name start with an "A", but so do the children-!!
