LEONARD, Brenda Jessie. Peacefully at Tairua Residential Care, on 22nd October, 2015; aged 81 years. Loved and adored wife of Maurice. Loved and cherished Mum of Meryll and Ross Williams, and Jeff and Anne. Treasured Nana of Aidan, Declan, Isaac, Samantha, Kayla and Joe. Loved daughter and step daughter of Dick and Frances Walters. Your suffering is over. The family would like to thank the Angels at Tairua Residential Care for their amazing love and care of 'our Brenda'. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at St George The Martyr Anglican Church, Mackay St, Thames, on Wednesday 28th October, at 1pm, followed by interment at Totara Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Thames St John would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 49, Thames.

LEONARD, Brenda Jessie. Passed away on the 22nd October 2015. She was the much loved daughter of Dick and Frances Walters, the loving wife and best friend of Maurice Leonard, the beloved mother of Meryll Williams and Jeff Leonard and the delighted Grandmother of Aidan, Declan and Isaac Williams; and Samantha, Kayla and Joe Leonard. Brenda was also a devoted part of other families including the Kelleher's, Johnson's, Pennell's and Rowson's. Brenda will also be remembered with much fondness by so many friends who delighted in her friendship and many talents. "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.
