Brian of nzolivers could not find an entry of death for a “Patrick Edgar Billing” on New Zealand BDM website in February 2019.
However, there was an entry for a “Edgar William Neville Billing” that died at 5 months. The other common factor is the given name of “Edgar”. Could this be our child?

Full date of death of 17 August 1923 from further searching in February 2019 on BDM Search by incrementally changing the date range for the death. This would place date of birth circa March 1923 which would fit the timeline of birth of his siblings.

There is a record of Edgar William Neville Billing’s burial at Rahotu Cemetery in Taranaki, page 3 followed by an entry of a plot of whast could be his brother “Frederick Leonard Billing” and his sister “Dawn Billing”:
