Reading from Pamela Booth’s book, “Blink Bonnie”:
In circa 1897, Janet (nee Rapley) moved to Wellington for the children's education, and then permanently from 1904 after parting from her husband, Robert Clark Higgie. She never remarried and remains known as Mrs Robert Higgie. Her mother Jane Ormsbee (previously Rapley and nee Nathan) was already in Wellington at the time managing hotels. Robert Clark Higgie did not spend any time in Wellington because he was, buying cattle and horses up the Whanganui River and involved with the horse racing industry.

Now living in Wellington confirmed from Obituary of her mother, Mrs. Jane Ormsbee. Published in the Evening Post dated Tuesday 3 September 1912:

On Sunday [1st September 1912] there passed away at Wanganui Mrs. Jane Ormsbee…. Mrs. Robert Higgie, now of Wellington…. are her children.
