As I work out of an office directly opposite the Cathedral, (I am Taranaki Health Advisor for IHC.), I often wander across the road to look at Mary Ann`s resting place. Her headstone was broken by vandals a few years ago and is in the Dean`s garage awaiting for some family member to get it repaired. It would be really nice to have this headstone repaired as Mary Ann was an early settler in the lovely city of New Plymouth.
I did inquire at the cathedrals` office to see if they had made contact with any family re repair of headstone and they had informed me that they had sent a letter off to someone in Australia at the beginning of the year but as yet hadn`t heard back.
