Name, date of birth and death, date of marriage, from Julie Bourke (nee McColl) in a one-pager titled, “Clark Notes” received by Brian in email dated 10 April 2017. Julie is great-granddaughter of Henry Gosling Clark and Emma Caroline Horneman. Brian of
nzolivers.com is a great-great grandson of Emma and Henry Clark.
Julie writes:
Charles Coombes Clark died 9 Dec 1862, 75 yrs, Lucy died 1 Sept 1860 (these death dates from Memories of Twickenham).
Julie writes:
Book Memories of Twickenham – Page 36 on internet - describes the stained glass window erected by their children in memory of their parents, could have been destroyed in the war as so many of the stained glass windows were destroyed by bombs.

Brian of nzolivers.com found in the marriage register, event date is 8 March 1813, Charles’ second name is spelt ‘Combes’, and age is same as lucy’s, 21 years of age. This would place Charles being born ca 1792.
The 1851 census has his estimated birth year as abt 1791.

Very recently a sixth window has been added on the south side nearest to the west, the design, the drawing and the colouring of which are equally excellent It represents the Saviour, as the healer of diseases, bidding the blind to see and the lame to walk. Its inscription runs thus: “ To the honour of God and in memory of Charles Coombes Clark, obit December nth, 1862, aetat, seventy-five, and of Lucy his wife, obit September 1st, 1860, aetat, seventy-six; erected by their affectionate children.” If the selected subject were not so undeniably suitable for a memorial of one who practised for many years in Twickenham as a medical man, it might have been regretted that the subject was not “the raising of the widow’s son at Nain,” which would have made the series of Gospel pictures on his side of the church more complete. The artists were Messrs Ward and ……
Angela Phippen, researcher from Sydney, Australia, forwarded a copy of a Rebecca Baker’s Will in emails dated 15 October 2017.
Rebecca Baker’s deceased husband, William Baker, was a surgeon in Twickenham in the County of Middlesex. In her Will dated 14 May 1857 she leaves money to Charles Coomb Clark (also a surgeon) and family.
“... to pay the following legacies to Charles Coomb Clark Surgeon of Twickenham the sum of one hundred pounds as a testimonial of gratitude for the comfort of his home in my troubles. To Mrs Clark, wife of the above married Charles Clark, the sum, of ten pounds, and to the three daughters of the said Charles Clark - Lucy Clark, Sophia wife of Dr Stone of Lea [Wiltshire?], and Matilda Clark - the sum of five pounds cash, also to Alfred Clark - Surgeon of Twickenham ten pounds...”.
There is no mention of son Henry Gosling Clark who would of been in New Zealand at this time.
Brian of nzolivers.com found in June 2018 lived in Grosvenor House, Back Lane/Holly Road, Twickenham, from 1846 to 1850:
