John the Baptist Hillingdon (This maybe George Clark’s first wife JB - Parish Record) George Clark & Elizabeth Ayres, both of Uxbridge, in this parish were married in this Church by Banns this day of Dec ? 1764 by me Richills Vic - This marriage was solemnised between us (Signed) George Clark X in the presence of Benny Bowswell
Date of death before 1783 becuase Julie writes that when husband George Clark re-married, he was a widow at the time:
“Hillingdon Middlesex Mr George Clark Widow of this Parifh and Mifs Mary Combes of Harmondsworth in this County were married in this Church by Licence this twenty Ninth Day of January in the Year One Thoufand Seven Hundred and Eighty Three…”
