Mike Walker writes that daughter Emily Ruth Bourn, “was 1 of 15 kids, 6 of whom died in childhood. (I am descended from #4 Henry, Emily Ruth is #10) The grave of the 6 small kids and their mother still exists in St. Mark's churchyard in Bath. The eldest, Charles James went to America, the 2nd Sturges went to Australia. Her mother was descended from a line of Brambles living in Ensbury and West-Parley, both in Dorset. Jane Bramble had a sister in Bath married to a dancing master, and two brothers, one of which became the mayor of Devizes, Wiltshire”.

Mike Walker in 22 May 2017 email writes, “There were 15 kids, but I've only managed to identify 5 grand children, there might be more, but not many, and of these 5 only 2 of them had any descendants. Interestingly, the eldest Charles James went to America, one of his grand children married a chap called Albert Volwider de Roode, who was the business partner of a guy named Franklin Delaney Roosevelt, yes, that's right, that one. There are several descendants of this line still in the US.
Emily had a brother, William Bramble Bourn, who, after his mother's death went to the US to visit his elder brother. He never made it, he was put into quarantine on Statten island where he contracted typhus. This quarantine was more like a concentration camp, where you were practically guaranteed to catch something, he was only about 15”.
