According to a letter (received by written to Nola Gamble (from a relative in Sproughton, Suffolk). Nola is the sister of Caroline Swart’s mother, Yvonne June Gamble. Copy of the letter received by Brian of nzolivers.com via email on 23 May 2018:
A ballet teacher, first marriage was to, “an airforce chap who died and then came to live with me in Holland with a second husband”.

In an email dated 31 October 2022 from Megaera Flemington, granddaughter of this Avis Gamble, Avis’ first husband first name is “Spurgeon”. Megaera also goes on to write that Avis and Spurgeon had three children, “Blake, Roy & Marlene - all FLEMINGTON”. Now, Brian of nzolivers had these children, and subsequent grandchildren, coming off the second marriage with Mr A Cornellison.

Brian of nzolivers has corrected this and now Blake, Roy & Marlene are the children of Spurgeon FLEMINGTON and Avis.

In the same email of 31 October 2022, Megaera writes, “My gran [Avis] remarried in later life and had no children with them”.
