Elderly man found after night in open
The elderly man missing in Opoutere, Whangamata, overnight has been found.
Whangamata police sergeant Vince Ranger said 84-year-old Opoutere local Bruce Oliver Collier was found safe and well on Forestry Road this morning.
Ranger said Collier had been outside overnight, but did not need hospitalisation.
He was returned home to his family.

COLLIER, Bruce Oliver. At The Booms Care Home, Thames, on 18th September 2020; aged 92 years. Loved husband of the late Esmae. Loved father of David, Susan, Brian, Shona, and the late Peter; and a loved grandfather, great- grandfather, and great-great- grandfather. A Celebration of Bruce's life will be held at Twentymans Grahamstown Chapel, 102 Kirkwood Street, Thames on Thursday 24th September at 1:00pm, followed by private cremation.
