Derek is the x3-great grandson of Hannah Barlow (b.1759) and her second husband, David Gibson. (Hannah Barlow remarried after the death of first husband Henry Devis b.1750).

Second given name, full date of birth, date of marriage, “Robert Nicholas Dillon Born May 29th 1853 Married to Elizabeth Hillier June 2nd 1875” from Image 8 of the Devis Family Bible sent by Derek Dillon in an email dated 16 March 2018. Derek had copied the Bible pages, while visiting some cousins in England circa 1988.

Full date of death, “Robert Nicholas Dillon Died April 19th 1923 age 69” [Would make DOB ca 1854] from Image 10 of the Devis Family Bible sent by Derek Dillon in an email dated 16 March 2018.

Linda is the x4-great granddaughter of Hannah Barbara Barlow b. 1759 and first husband Henry Devis. Hannah Barbara Devis (nee Barlow) remarried, to the David Gibson of the mentioned report.

Derek writes that after his wife Elizabeth died, he sent four youngest children away to live-in West London schools in Ashford. Daughter Eleanor left home and worked as a kicthenmaid in Surrey. Robert took over running the Oil and Colour [paint] Shop of step-father [Charles Alfred Hayman], however this failed in 1911 and became a resident of the Marylebone Workhouse where he resided until his death.
