According to a Facebook post (on the 'Taranaki Families - Genealogy and DNA' Group), by Donna Rutherford on 6 December 2023, Margaret Hancock (nee Robertson) was the illegitimate child of Matilda Robertson, and Donna discovered her father to be a James Lindsay.
