Name found from online search in June 2021. This is thought to be the death record found on New Zealand BDM website in June 2021:
1924/1557. Milne, NOT RECORDED, died age 2D
Full date of death of 26 January 1924 from further searching in June 2021 on BDM Search by incrementally changing the date range for the death.
If died at two days old, then date of birth would be 24 January 1924.
More work is needed to confirm this daughter is in fact of Harold and Lena (nee Shute) Milne. Lena is the sister of Olive Nesta Eleanor SHUTE who married James Alexander OLIVER b.1866.
On the 24 January 2024, Brian of nzolivers checked the New Zealand BDM website. There was a birth recorded on 24 January 1924, with a given name of ‘Not Recorded’, however, the parents were Cecil and Annie Milne. Therefore this baby is not ours here.
