The place of birth in the 1841 Census is given as Devon. The place of birth in the 1851 Census is given as Boyton, Cornwall. The village of Boyton is in fact in Cornwall, on the west side of the Tarmar River. Yet, Boyton Mill in on the eastern side and is in Devon. We will accept that the birth may of been in the village and use "Boyton, Cornwall, England" here.
