There passed away at Hopelands, after a lengthy illness, of one of the district's most respected and well-known personalities in the person of Mrs A. Jamieson, wife of Mr T. G. Jamieson, a well-known farmer of that district and formerly of Ballance. The deceased had a wide circle of relatives and friends and their sympathy goes out to the bereaved husband and family
