Date of birth, confirmation of second name, baptised in the Roman Catholic Chapel, St Heliers, Jersey, from handwritten note from Brian Carrell, grandson of George Robert Carrel, George being a son of John and Talitha (nee Hutchings) Carroll/Carrel.
Year of marriage and a second name of “Kathleen”, from Jenny Smith (nee Bryce) whose late husband, John Monro Menzies, was the grandson of Telitha Carrel (b. 1885), sister of Maud Oliver (nee Carrel). Name of Kathleen does not correspond with information from Janet Kelly or Brian Carrell?
Diana Scott in an Ancestry message dated 31 August 2017 writes, “Elizabeth, was my great-grandmother. She married William Richardson. They had several children one of whom was granddad (Reginald John Chanel Richardson aka 'Jock').
Month of marriage, year of marriage confirmed, place of marriage at Bell Street home, lived at 14 Barrack Street, from 'Appendix ii' written by Brian Carrell in his brother’s, (Anthony Carrell), book published in 2019, “John and Talitha Carroll - From Jersey to Wanganui”.

John and Talitha Carroll - From Jersey to Wanganui
This book, written by Anthony Carrell, was first published in September 2019. Sadly, Anthony passed away less than three years later.
Due to demand, the book became out of print. Brian Oliver of nzolivers, in September 2024, republished it, with the support of Anthony's wife, forwarding working material, research, some digital files, and original papers.
