“The Oliver family lost 3-year-old Annabella from “dropsy”. Scarlet fever is not mentioned in the death notice and I have not seen the death certificate – but note another child during that period was reported as dying from “dropsy attributed to Scarlet Fever”. I guess that was what may also have taken Annabelle Oliver on 2nd July 1864”.
Graeme Kenyon’s great-grandfather was James George Kenyon b.1861 whose second wife was Ada Oliver b.1864, daughter of Samuel Oliver b.1833.
