However, Dax Eric Clayton Lloyd, great-grandson of Jessie Bertha Oliver b.1876, claims Ann was born about 1821 in Holsworthy, Devon, England.

nzolivers.com had gone with this latter date. This date had fitted the order of those children listed in John’s Will that remained in England.

Sarah Ferguson (nee Churton) claims year of birth is ca 1817 at Pyworthy, Devon, England.

Date of Baptism of 8 June 1817 from information received in September 2013 from Peter (Pete) G M Dale of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Pete is related to the Olivers in Devon. Pete's great great great grandfather was John Batten (Battin) b. 1793, sister of Ruth Batten who married James Oliver b.1805. Ruth and James emigrated to New Zealand in 1841.

Pete’s source was ‘Pyworthy Baptisms – 1813-1839’, (2005), DFHS, which has the following entries for children of John Oliver and his wife Grace which confirms the 1841 and 1851 Census of England entries:

This places the year of birth for Ann at circa 1817 - so Brian of nzolivers.com has gone with this year. This year still fits the order of those children listed in John’s Will that remained in England
