Ann Oliver believed to have married Thomas Yeo in 1870, according to Katia, wife of Tim Grant Oliver, in an email dated 20 January 2023:
Name: Ann Oliver
Marriage quarter: 1
Marriage year: 1870
Spouse: Thomas Yeo
District: Holsworthy
County: Devon
Tim Oliver is a x3 great grandson of James and Ruth Oliver, his grandfather being Ivor James Clark Oliver (1907-1989).
This Ann and her husband, Thomas Yeo, inherit Boyton Mill:
Katia, wife of Tim Grant Oliver, in an email dated 14 January 2023 asked, “who is the last one from the Oliver family living in Boyton Mill? Francis Oliver’s [1822-1897] daughter Ann Yeo and her husband Thomas Yeo? Or their son Francis Oliver Yeo?”.
Tim Oliver is a x3 great grandson of James and Ruth Oliver, his grandfather being Ivor James Clark Oliver (1907-1989).
In response, Brian of nzolivers notes that page 4 of "Boyton Mill - a History”:
https://nzolivers.com/articlesdocs/BoytonMillHisto...ll_Pages/Image4.htmlWhere this paper reads that Francis [1822-1897] inherited the Mill after his mother died in 1859 [actually was 1860]. After Francis' death in 1897 the property was acquired by Thomas Yeo [with wife Ann Yeo - nee Oliver).
And, on page 8 of the PDF:
https://nzolivers.com/articlesdocs/Deborah Laing-Trengrove Report.pdf
This reads, "The mill remained in the ownership of the Oliver family until 1897, followed by Thomas and then Frank Yeo, then Jack Cole the last person listed as miller, who sold the mill in 1951 to a Mr Hill who ‘modernised the premises’”.
The Frank [Francis] Yeo referred to here must be a son of Thomas and Ann (nee Oliver) Yeo.
We are unsure whether Jack Cole mentioned is related.
In a subsequent email dated 20 January 2023 email, Katia writes, “All of Francis Oliver's children, except of Ann, died before him. Therefore, we believe Ann and Thomas Yeo inherit the Boyton Mills”.
