Information from Graeme Kenyon, whose great grandfather was James George Kenyon b.1861 whose second wife was Ada Oliver b.1864, daughter of Samuel Oliver b.1833.

Graeme writes, “It is almost certain that Joseph Kenyon had been previously married and by his first wife (at present unknown) his first two children, Thomas and Sarah Ann were born. It is my belief that Joseph Kenyon then moved to Halifax, married Hannah Willah (Willey) and then my ancestor John was born. It is thus my belief that John’s two elder siblings, Thomas and Sarah Ann, are half-siblings”.
