Graeme writes that soon after Mildred’s father married his second wide, Ada Oliver from Wanganui in 1893 and went to live in backblocks of Hunterville (Sandon Block) that, “a Welshman called Owen Parry of South Taranaki went to Hunterville and married ‘Mildred’ and brought her back to Taranaki. Owen Parry’s son Trevor is still alive and still in South Taranaki – he told me that”.
