Chapter 3.0 of the “Horneman Family History 1605 to 2006” CD provides the following:
Henry Frederick Horneman married Jane Anne Hammond on 4 February 1801 in Denmark. Jane was a descendant of the Urwick family of Felhampton Court, near Wistanstow, Shropshire, England. When she was an infant her mother Ann died. After that Jane and her family used Anne as her first name.
It is not known how Jane Anne Hammond met with Henry Frederick Horneman in Københaven. They moved to England in ca 1802, before the birth in 1803 of their second child, Frederick Edward Horneman, [from whom Brian of
nzolivers.com is descendant].
The personal papers of Henry Frederick Horneman indicate that Henry and Jane Anne Horneman lived in three locations in London during the years 1802 to 1825

- 3 Cardigan Place, Lambeth
On the 24 February 1814 Henry Frederick Horneman became
Danish Consul General in London. Denmark had ceased all official relations with Great Britain in 1807. These were resumed in 1814, when Henry Frederick Horneman became the first Consul General in London. Consuls at this time were not paid for their services, but their expenses were refunded.
