John Snow was the younger son of James Snow (ch. May 27, 1730, Bampton, Devonshire, England) and his wife, Elizabeth (Ash) Snow (ch. February 14, 1730, in Bampton, England). He was born in 1767. John's older brother was James Snow, christened May 10, 1756 in Bampton, England.
On January 22, 1792, John Snow married Hannah Deem (b: 1771 in Exeter, Devon, England). They had the following children:[1]
