WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
McGregor - Currell.
A frock of Alice blue georgette made with frills, silver yoke, and deep silver lace hem, was chosen by Roslea, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Currell, of Belfast, Ireland, when she became the wife of Henry, son of Mr. Charles McGregor, of Auckland, on Saturday evening at St. Peter's Church. The bride also wore an embroidered tulle veil, which formed the train, and was held in place with silver leaves and bow, the end of the veil having beautifully worked true lovers' knots in silver. She carried a shower bouquet of double pink carnations, lilies and roses, with silver streamers. The bride was accompanied by Miss Irene Powley, also in pastel bine georgette, with small gold cyclamen, and deeper shades of flowers worked on the frock. The headdress was a silver bandeau, with tulle and georgette, small flowers. A blue and pink shower bouquet was carried. The duties of best man were performed by Mr. Cliff Wren, and the Rev. T. Haliday officiated. A wedding supper and reception was held at the Methodist Hall, which was gaily festooned in greenery and flowers. Mrs. Powley acted as hostess, and wore a gown of navy blue crepe de chine, worked in lacquer, red and gold, and a hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of red roses.
