James George Kenyon, 1861 - 1952: An autobiography compiled by Graeme on the life of his great-grandfather, James George Kenyon. James' mother arrived in New Plymouth on the Timandra in 1842, his father arriving 13 years later. James married Ada Oliver in 1909, six years after the death of his first wife. Ada was the daughter of Samuel Oliver (b. 1833).
