Rachel Frances Oliver born 31 August 1940 believes date of death was 5 February 1877 at Tikoranga, New Zealand.
Date (24 October 1863) and place of marriage from "The Jury Family", lodged at Puke Ariki Museum, New Plymouth, New Zealand.
Graeme Kenyon, whose great grandfather was James George Kenyon b.1861 (whose second wife was Ada Oliver b.1864, daughter of Samuel Oliver b.1833) writes:
“The list of men qualified and liable to serve as jurors, for New Plymouth, in 1857/58 has William Oliver, Cordwainer living at Carrington Road (same address as his father, James Oliver). A consideration of ages shows this is almost certainly the son of James Oliver, and also the man who appeared as a witness at the marriage of William Wilson and Jane Hawke in 1857. Note that Jane Hawke’s father was also a Cordwainer by trade.
Brian of nzolivers.com notes that Jane Hawke is Graeme Kenyon’s great-great grandmother.
Date of death changed to 5th due to photo of headstone (ex Rachel Frances Oliver) at Tikoranga Cemetery, Taranaki.

Full date of death of 5 February 1877 confirmed from further searching in November 2020 on BDM Search by incrementally changing the date range for the death.
Further to the children entered into our nzolivers family tree, these two births listed here were also found from a birth search on New Zealand BDM website in November 2020. It is not confirmed if they are the children of our William and Emily:
1872/30159. Oliver, Herbert. Mother: Emily. Father: William
1876/10179. Oliver, Ellen Lucy. Mother: Emily. Father: William
Therefore, the above two children have not been included in our nzolivers family tree.
