Sharon says, “I believe his grave is in the RSA section of the Waitara cemetery”.

Sharon in an email of 11 July 2013 writes, “Francis Otto was born 26th March 1888 – 1888/13320 - www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz. He was the third of ten children to Charles Lawrence McKoy and Mary Ann Fisher”.

“Francis married Ada Edith Osborne 15th February 1919 – confirmed with Marriage Certificate Bromsgrove 1919 No. A185837 Stoke Prior, Worcester, England”.

“Francis died 9th January 1964 - 1964/36698 www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz - (sudden, possibly Heart Attack) in Waitara, New Zealand – buried in RSA cemetery Waitara – unsure if there is a headstone”.

“I believe Francis was a butcher. Given that he was 70 when I was born, I do not really know much more”.

“I would love to know how Francis and Ada came to meet up and marry – possibly granddad was in England with the Army? Wayne has his Army records. I have no information on when or how they returned to New Zealand”.
