Information from Graeme Kenyon, whose great grandfather was James George Kenyon b.1861 whose second wife was Ada Oliver b.1864, daughter of Samuel Oliver b.1833.

Graeme writes, “John was born in 1862. He emigrated to South Africa as a young man. Married twice. Died in an accident in a gold mine in Cape Town in 1916. Some descendants have recently migrated back to New Plymouth”.
