Place of burial, Waikaraka Cemetery, from grandson Fred Jones in a telephone conversation in September 2024 with Brian Oliver of nzolivers. Fred remembers his grandfather John dying a shoirt time before his grandmother Grace. However, Brian cannot find any record of this. However, there is this New Zealand BDM record where dates match:
1955/18391. Jones, John. Died age 81Y. Died on 14 February 1955.

And, further to the above, there is a burial record found on the “Auckland Council” website in September 2024. This is in the same plot of wife Grace. And, John’s date of death matches:
